Thank you to our sponsors:
What a fine performance by this cast. The air was chilly but the whole atmosphere was warm and I wish there had been more young people there to enjoy this familiar tale told in a new way. Perhaps the local drama class could be encouraged to attend to see what can be done. The message of how sad many family relations look after a tragedy has occured is one we all need to relearn. Bravo.
Thanks Terry for your thoughts. We did invite the three Peninsula high schools offering complimentary tickets for any students who wished to come. Students from Parklands did attend the performances. It was likely too early in the year for the schools to take full advantage of this opportunity. We will continue to encourage them to come to future theatre projects. We’re glad you enjoyed the modern presentation of Romeo & Juliet.
