Imagine zooming up one of the hills on a small country road and stopping for savour local produce before the next cruise down a back road. We bid farewell to summer touring on the Peninsula with the only wet day in the last few months!
The Harvest Tour spun around the Saanich Peninsula, along country roads, bike paths and trails as we explored what nature offers … and tasted a little too!
Despite the drizzle, good fun was had by all with the occasional tasty treat of fresh baking and hot beverages. Yum! As Sara said, “I wish I had more room for the treats at Mosi and will go back there another time. I did enjoy the Italian hot chocolate – my first!”
With plenty of good countryside riding and farm visits, we came away with a wonderful appreciation of what our back yard has to offer … even on a rainy day!
