Green Day Walk

March 10, 2013 By Tides Management Group Leave a Comment

On a sunny spring day, the first annual Green Day Community Walk hosted by Adam Olsen and his family took place in Sidney, BC.  Close to 100 people came down to the Beacon bandshell to support community sustainability by picking the button reflecting what they vote for.

GREEN DAY COMMUNITY WALK
Join Adam Olsen and his family again next year for a walk to celebrate the beauty of green we live in everyday. A day for all of us—young and old— to enjoy time together, get a bit of exercise, breath fresh air and meet others in our community.  TIDES will be managing the event.
       Rain or shine!

WHEN: Sunday, March 16 from 10 am to noon
WHERE: Beacon Park oceanside (in front of the Sidney Pier)
WHAT: seaside walk from Beacon Park to Tulista Park and back

And thanks to the Sidney Pier Hotel, we had special green tea infused water to whet our whistle!
Everyone welcome again next year!
